Affirmed Network’s spring tradeshow season continued this week with Light Reading’s 2nd Annual, Big Telecom Event in Chicago, an event featuring an impressive display of exhibitors, speakers and attendees.
For Affirmed Networks this event was an exceptional way for us to continue to increase our visibility, meet with customers and engage with key influencers. The event also offered opportunities to be part of key industry discussions, to achieve recognition and to demonstrate the capabilities of our technology. And, rest assured, we took advantage of every opportunity.
The event began on Monday with the Leading Lights Awards on Monday night where Affirmed Networks was a finalist in two key categories – “Most Innovative NFV Solution” and “Private Company of the Year.”
On Tuesday, Affirmed Networks was a key part of several discussions on the evolution of today’s networks and on key issues facing our industry. The day began with Affirmed being mentioned by AT&T in a keynote as Andre Fuetsch, Senior Vice President of Architecture and Design at AT&T gave an update on the operator’s software-centric network build model, and the progress they are making to virtualize their network.
Later in the day, Affirmed Networks’ CEO and Chairman, Hassan Ahmed, was a key part of two important industry discussions — speaking on two star-studded panels hosted by Light Reading President Stephen Saunders.
We also had a great showing of our brand and our technology. On the show floor, Affirmed Networks was present in Red Hat’s booth giving a live demo of our service orchestration capabilities, and as attendees walked throughout the venue it was virtually impossible to miss signage adoring the Affirmed Networks logo.
So, all in all, for our first time at the Big Event, we believe we certainly got some Big Time Exposure at a great event.
We aren’t done yet, though, as the tradeshow season rolls on. Check out our events page to find out where you can find Affirmed Networks next.
