Affirmed Networks, virtualized of mobile network company, announced that it has been selected by Aire Networks, a mobile network provider based in Spain, to provide the Virtual Evolved Packet Core (vEPC) platform that will serve as the foundation for the virtualization of the operator’s mobile network. As part of this commitment, Aire Networks will deploy Affirmed Networks’ Mobile Content Cloud solution as the foundation for virtualizing their mobile network infrastructure. Virtualized networks offer carriers like Aire flexibility, cost savings, new revenue opportunities and an increase speed of deployment.
