White Paper: 4G & 5G Ready Network Slicing

November 2017

This paper shows how network slicing can be introduced in today’s 4G networks, while contributing to future commercial success of tomorrow’s 5G networks. Currently, real-world use cases live with AT&T, Vodafone, and Verizon are demonstrating how network slicing is used to offer compelling new services. New capabilities, such as a Virtual Slice Selection function, enable fine-grained network slicing across legacy and virtualized, multi-vendor network environments both today and in future 5G networks.
